I'm going manual and plan on adding the performance tune from Ford to my order. It's a tune that is available on the Ranger 2.3L Ecoboost. I'll have to run premium fuel, but it adds 45hp and 60 lb-ft of torque. I'd prefer to have it done by Ford so there are no warranty issues. But if they won't do it, I'll find someone locally that will.
Have we heard anything about this actually being an option come ordering?

I think even for the Ranger it took a year to get it from Ford. Hopefully the Bronco will get it but I doubt it will be anywhere near launch/early delivery.

That Ranger tune would bring the 2.3 horsepower closer to the 2.7 right? Almost similar torque too. I'm always running premium fuels anyway.

It might be ready, but I kind of doubt it will be. Which is OK, I don't need it immediately. Then I will get the fun of noticing the difference once the tune is applied.
