Ford Had 4 of Top 10 Most Viewed New Vehicles in 2022, Including the Bronco [CarGurus Report]

According to CarGuru's 2022 Intelligence Snapshots and 2023 Outlook [direct link to report in PDF], Ford had 4 of the top 10 most viewed new vehicles in 2022 on CarGurus. The Ford Bronco was the 4th most viewed new vehicle. The others included the Maverick (#1), Mach-E (#5) and Mustang (#10).

Consumers viewing different vehicles for new, CPO, and non-CPO used

• New – Consumer interest was driven by new model names: the Maverick, Bronco, Mustang Mach-E, GV80, GV70, and EV6 all launched in 2021 and 2022. This suggests that consumers are drawn by and interested in new nameplates.
• CPO - CPO offers a value-friendly door to luxury nameplates for aspirational shoppers. This segment was dominated by Mercedes (top-three spots) and BMW (3 additional spots). These are two of the most heritage-rich names in luxury, and their strong CPO programs make used models attractive.
• Non-CPO Used – This segment offers a more eclectic mix, but it still over-indexes in premium and luxury marques (7 of 10). Interest in the non-CPO used market shows that performance, luxury, and design are still major levers for value-driven shoppers.

My dealer said the maverick hybrid is the truck everyone wants because of the gas mileage and Ford can't produce enough of them. Of course he had a few with 10ADM and all they sold quick.

Ford didn't make the top ten researched vehicles for November at motor trend or Edmunds. I've never used CarGurus for anything, typically I'll go straight to the mfg site for info on a new vehicle and then search out independent reviews if I'm interested.

We have a bronco and a GV80. That GV is the bomb. Loaded with tech, and concierge service takes the cake.

They stopped producing the Camaro in 2002 then started back up in 2009 with 2010 model year.

all 22's and 23's are already sold out. But I got one though and it rocks at an average of 40mpg in the colder months so far an can get 45 average during the summer months. But when the wife drives it for some reason she can only muster 37 mpg as she has no concept of hypermiling... and is lead footed

I am ordering a Maverick next fall, the 2024 Camaro is the last year for it and Chevy is retiring it.

That’s amazing. My son ordered a normally-aspirated AWD about the same time and all he has seen so far are three emails from Ford that say something akin to, “Hang tight.”

While in puting the order they also asked me to sign the order with a copy of my license. Next up, a vin# was assigned about a month later and then a window sticker a few weeks after that. All on the Ford web/order tracking sight. The truck moved through scheduling /production/ prepare for shipping quickly and then just froze up. Called the dealership and they said it was in a train yard in Nogales Arizona and it might get here before Christmas. It did!
