I wonder if the NHTSA would get involved with the broncos sitting on Ice Mtn. At some point there has to be concerns with electrical components sitting for 6+ months.
Why would NHTSA get involved over stored Broncos?? And what are your concerns with the electrical components? Other than a dead battery, the systems aren't "degrading" anymore than they would be if they were parked in a dealers lot or in someone's driveway.

OP, who you need to contact depends on your issue. As you stated the Ford presence here is nothing but an intern run high five account with strict instructions to ignore dealer, allocation and delivery issues. You need to go higher up the chain via customer service, email, Twitter, etc. Again, issue dependant.
