I got fingered by Ford earlier today.
I didn't like it.
I can see the Ford account now responding to your post.

" Hi there. This doesn’t sound like something we want you to experience with your Bronco. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I'd be happy to look into how I can assist you on my end."

Actually Ford Customer service has seemed great so far, dealer could not find the part. They located one and it will ship on the 27th (I assume from Eaton).I hope this is how it happens.

Did you get COVP certified when you reordered in MY23? Have you checked with your dealer?

Even if your not a customer, his threads are very informative.

It really is pretty cut and dry for Wildtrak order holders.

You are not forced to re-order, but your chance of getting built "as is" is SLIM ....but not entirely zero.
If you choose not to change your order to a more buildable model, and you do not get built this year, all price protections will be dropped when you have to re-order for 2024.

... you can order a different Ford, like a F150 or whatever.


... you can just walk away from the shit show.

According to Zach, bonus for all other order holders, they can change models, say a Squatched Black Diamond to a non-Squatch Badlands, which in my opinion is MOSTLY Squatched anyways .... all the good (expensive) hard parts are there ... driveline.
Yep. I read it. Still short on specifics.

Maybe they’re just waiting for everyone on B6G who hasn’t received theres yet to create another “where’s my Bronco” and “why are they doing this” thread. Seems about right.

I got fingered by Ford earlier today.

Hell if you got fingered - I got FISTED, dealer was allowed to steal my Braptor (more to come on that much later) and I got sent to the back of the f-ing line.

OP, do what everyone else is doing, make no changes until close to the deadline and hope Mother Ford will give birth to your unicorn.
this. i wonder if fords play is to see how many switch before making a decision on priority and price protection. if 50% change orders it's not as impactful to ford.

i mean the same game happened before with constraints, just some were communicated most were not (tow, sas, etc.).

to be fair ford also knows demand is so high that any new orders will be filled thus less concerned about res holders in year three+.
