Hey, I just did this yesterday too... although I only did the front ones. The parts were around $50, but I used Ford Pass points to purchase them... so, free. I'd say they are a bit wobbly, but really need to be there.

Just curious. Is it necessary to put on the back flaps? How would that look? Most of the complaints and need for mud flaps is to stop dinging up the side of your bronco right. Maybe it would just look weird with only the front on but they’re really not that obtrusive. 🤷🏽‍♂️ just my thoughts.

Not necessary for paint damage. I live where it’s actually a law to have mud flaps so you don’t pelt other vehicles with rocks so technically it’s necessary for me.

Just mentally remove the rear flaps from my side pictures and you’ve got it. Wouldn’t look weird to me. The fronts aren’t all that noticeable so I don’t think you need the rears just to look “right”.

It's amazing they don't have these for sasquatch. Complete fail. It's where they're most needed.....
Mine arrive Wednesday. I'll post results. (2dr Wildtrak)

Did mine today and I have the same large endcaps. Removed them by pulling 3 white clips, popping fender flares off, & popping bumper corner top plastic up to disengage endcap. Used scratch awl to mark where to cut, then cut with sharp utility knife. Drilled 5, 1/8" holes for self tapping screws.

Or as many people have mentioned they could have made the side step shorter without any apparent negative consequences.

It is crazy they don’t have a version of the flaps for each configuration but also imagine the nightmare for all of us trying to determine the right part numbers and the inevitable errors on parts listings and dealership parts departments.
The end caps on those steps should come off. Wouldn't it have been easier to pull the end cap off, cut 2" off the end of the metal tube, then slide the end cap back on?

There’s another thread where someone was going to do that but on the 2 door there are slots that get clipped into and would get cut off in that scenario so they had to switch the driver and passenger side steps and drill new mounting holes to move the step further back. Definitely looks better when finished but a lot more work.

Honestly I’d rather cut a plastic flap then a steel step anyway. Eventually the aftermarket will provide a better solution and my steps will still be original.

any idea if anyone has tagged ford or mike levine to see if we could get them make something that fits with steps or sliders vs tearing up the sides of our new broncos? I dont know what the tags are for them or if it has to get tagged on twitter
