Ford Bronco Ford Paint Codes ? 1651510798310
Thank you for the reply. I guess that I should have been more clear. I don't have my bronco yet and I wanted to go ahead and have the aftermarket hood painted before the bronco arrived.
My painter said that there was a code that he could scan inside the door.
I will try my dealership and see if they have one.
Thanks again.

Carbonized grey.
Carbonized Gray's color code for Ford did not change from 2021 to 2022. Therefore, the color code for Carbonized Gray should still be M7.

You've peaked my curiosity!

Where did you search for this information?
On here.
I found the M7 number.
My paint guy said if I could get the scan from the door of another carbonized grey he could match that.
Thats what I was looking for.
I guess I worded it poorly.

With Ford's paint code of M7, your paint guy should have no problem matching the color but I also get sometimes a vendor gets hung up on the way their software works and doesn't know how to address it beyond what the software asks them for.

Yea, that's strange.

I tried the super-ninja-don't-ever-try-this search for "paint codes", searching by title only, and only your thread, and a thread with the answer you seek came up.

Obviously not something searched for very much, but it was there in page-1 results. No doubt the search function isn't the best intra-forum but narrowing down to titles only really thins the responses down quickly.

I'm a painter. Your code is definitely "M7"

However, as a painter. Your painter may want the vehicle In house so he can match the color. There are typically different alternates to most colors. In my picture, I show two. If he paints it now without being able to compare the color. It may not match when they put it on. As you see, one alternate says "bronco" that doesn't necessarily mean it will Match your bronco.

Yes thanks. I know nothing about the scan tool that he has just that he could match if I could get it from a carbonized grey they were all the same.
I have a lady that works for me that has a Ranger that I can have him scan.

If I was your painter, I would tell you let's wait until we have the vehicle. Doing it one time and making it right is alot cheaper and easier than doing it twice
