Ford Performance tune good for 2023 2.7L?

Does anyone know if the ford performance tune is good for my 2023 2.7L? It just lists 21-22 models?

I just recently emailed them and asked about 2023 models as well as California EO certifications and they said it's in the works but they don't have an ETA yet. Idk if that means they won't work for 2023 models, but at least we know they're working on it.

Sport mode doesn’t add horsepower or change engine tuning at all. So any actual tune will out perform it in that category.

The Ford Performance Procal with calibration isn't available yet for the 2023's. They are awaiting emissions approval. Once that's been granted we'll post up letting everyone know.

I confirmed with Ford Performance, you can actually go ahead and buy the tool. You just won’t be able to download the calibration for your 2023 model until they release them in the next month or so.

I agree. Coming from a higher performance vehicle, the 2.7 in the Bronco even in sport mode is underwhelming. I’m hoping the tune will wake it up and make it a more responsive machine.

The calibrations will be available in all states except CA at first. Once they apply to CARB and it's approved then they'll be available for CA customers.

I really don't have one at the moment. Although I speak with my rep at Ford Performance often it's really in the hands of emissions at this time. Hope to see it approved sooner than later. Rest assured we will make everyone aware once the cal has been approved for the 23 MY's.

UPDATE: Just spoke with my Ford Performance rep and he said that he heard the 2023 cals are about 2 weeks out from being approved. However that's not set in stone as this is a government agency we're waiting on for approval so we'll see how it goes.

Hopefully we'll get the green light soon!
