For a few minutes I thought Skeets might have been someone with a horse in the race because of the one track mind on IFS in thread after thread, going on like a preacher in a brothel blind to the lack of traction he was getting with his audience, but after the posts this morning it seems far more like juvenile trolling.
What's wrong having to come to grips with reality a bit........If i was a troll I wouldn't be supporting what they're building and posting up supporting the brand...... But hey I'm not the one with the closed mind and realize more room is a plus for newer technology to work. You boys are worse than a pack of young liberals.... and just about as smart. LOL I'll make it easy for you I'll go away that way the knitting club won't feel threatened because the new guys mind is a threat to their group think!

We all have different opinions here. We all want different things from the new Bronco. There’s definitely no group think happening here. However, we all make decent points and understand we have different wants and needs.

You on the other hand seem to just be spewing nonsense that has no real merit. Just opinions based on you’re own stance and then get defensive when someone counters it.

Why don't you go to the home page and read the headline on the Bronco .....Now read it again and try to comprehend what it says..........See how the chassis pre production parts worked..........HMMMM but then I can read and comprehend........Your opinion seems based more on wants rather than what the guys building the thing are telling you......I just applied what they said and a masters degree in engineering taught me. You on the other hand.......LOL

As a fellow conservative, you've come into this forum acting like a massive douche. This whole "I'm right and everyone else is wrong" attitude you bring to every thread is tiresome. There's certainly a lot of things about the Bronco that we can infer based on what we've been given, but until it's unveiled, including all of the variants that will come out in the future, there's still a ton of things to speculate about and hope for. Speculation, rumors, hopeful thinking is part of why we are in this forum. It also help pass the time while we wait for bread crumbs from Ford. Why don't you relax and stop taking every disagreement as a personal attack?

P.S. No one in here gives two shits about your degree.

Why are you fixated on the chassis? That’s just the new frame they are using. That’s all that’s saying and talking about. Do you really think the Bronco R’s front suspension is going to be some kind of production based product?

They were only testing the drivetrain and frame. They actually messed up on the suspension as it sat too low.

I have serious doubts to his 'degree'. That or it is in 'engineering', ala custodial engineering, or industrial engineering. No Engineer would be using side by sides or KOH buggies as examples of how flexy IFS can be on a factory built street legal production truck because they are fundamentally different than what street legal production passenger vehicles legally require.

I will be fine with IFS or SFA and anyone who thinks there aren’t massive advantages to SFA is kidding themselves. It’s just a question of trade-offs.

Bringing politics into this is stupid as hell though. Your political opinion is like your asshole; everybody has one and nobody wants to know about yours.(Yes I’m aware probably 90% of us here are at least somewhat conservative, red-blooded Americans who shoot guns and hunt etc. but I know for myself I deal with politics enough elsewhere. No !eed to bring it here.)

I thought there was a dedicated thread to have this debate?
There is, but some of these guys have nothing better to do than argue in circles about this shit in every thread. They just can’t help themselves.

No one is threatened by any post with substance in it.
IF you ever make one of those, then we can have a discussion.

If anyone thinks everyone here thinks the same, you should dig back into some of the other forum threads! The IFS vs SFA argument/discussion (depending on how rational those involved are being) has been had a few times. I'm fully on the IFS side because an SFA won't suit my needs and I believe Ford can make a very successful product with IFS, but I'll never claim there aren't advantages to an SFA for those who want to rock crawl.

I know we are on different sides for our preferences, but we've had some fairly civil discussions over the matter. Think we even discussed doing a suspension swap if the 2dr comes with SFA and 4dr with IFS.

I'm thinking if it comes with IFS only (very likely), that I will look into what it would take to swap in a Troller front end once that makes it onto the same frame.

Man, I admire the passion. That's about the only positive thing I can say about some of the posts on the past couple pages of this thread.

At this point, I find myself caring less and less about what is under the front end of a new Bronco. If it doesn't perform, I feel confident the aftermarket will make improvements - from simple bolt-ons that will incrementally modify the existing configuration, to entire axle/steering/suspension swaps that will radically transform it should it not be up to certain tasks.

Outside of the technical discussion, I'm not a fan of people with an otherwise healthy common interest verbally shredding each other. It's difficult to escape the vehemence and negativity while trying to sift through posts in search of viable opinions.
