Anyone knows the list of changes?
I don’t have fordpass, how do I manually download and update the car?

As I'm not a computer guy, wondering how to turn off updates on my desktop/laptop as well
You're the kind of person who shouldn't turn off the updates.

PITA when it restarts though, why do I need the biweekly updates anyway?

I was today years old when I learned that people get mad about receiving software updates.
People are irrational over the craziest stuff. Nothing new lol.

The speedometer / tach screen? There is only the calm screen option.

The infotainment screen has a setting you can get into that shuts it off, I wish it was a physical button but it isn't. But I have shut if off before ;)
thanks
No not the speedo screen. I think this is about the center Ford Sync screen infotainment - please send a pic of where that shut off mode is for the center screen.

I really dont think you can make the speedo screen go into a relax mode

Another UPDATE?!?!?! I swear Ford is worse than Microsoft
Apparently you've never spoken to a Tesla owner about updates. 😆

Actually, I'm not really sure what the big deal is. It's not like we have to actively apply them. As long as nothing goes wrong, I don't really care if there are a lot of updates. And if updates bring good changes, even better.

if ford is listening, can you give me an update to shut off that annoying digital speedometer that is literally right next to the analog one? that is dumb.
Actually, I'd like a digital tach there. One that looks like an analog tach with a sweeping needle.

I can see it now

"flaw discovered in the sync system that can cause the bronco to be compromised"

Users who don't want and disabled updates,

WTF, why didn't I get this!

there's more to updating systems now a days than just for the vehicle performance and what not. It's a full security issue. I'm also in IT and baddies are constantly trying to see what they can get into, what can they break, what can they steal. Keeping updates on helps patch security holes, same as your computers, phones, and anything else. It sucks that it can sometimes break other things but in this day and age, it's needed. Alexa for example is plugged into some of our trim levels, if we use it or not. If it's not kept updated, bad things will happen.

I think you go to settings -> Display and it is in there. I'm not in front of my Bronco right now, but I know it isn't that hard to find. I do wish it was a button though, and I also wish it would retain the last setting so if you shut the vehicle off, and the screen was off, it would be off when you start up again.
