Did all levels get the 1.7.1 update? My Base is still showing 1.6!
Yes, from base to lux package. Ones just a bigger screen but essentially share the same software.

I share the same want for full screen CarPlay on the 12” screen. I hope Ford is listening.

For all the years that my parents owned, it, and for the years that I owned if afterward, Ford never did issue any firmware updates for my 1969 Falcon.

Similarly, Nikon never offered any firmware updates for my 1972 F2, even though I got several from them for my 2012/2013 D3200.

I hate that we have this giant beautiful new age Sync4 screen and then the digital dash cluster looks like it's part of Nintendo 64 graphics. It's 2021, that's the best they could roll out?

How sweet would it be if you could customize the instrument cluster like the face of an apple watch or something. Retro digital dials. Any combination of gauges you choose. Should be beyond easy to implement these days.
This! And give us an old school Tach option while we're at it too.

That's their excuse, of course.

The F2 is a camera, not a vehicle. I suspect that the fact that the only electronics of any kind that it contains is a very simple, primitive analog light meter might have some effect on Nikon having never released a firmware update for it.

I’m hoping we get one of these that lets CarPlay go full screen on the 12” screen.
Are you blind? Helen Keller could use the gps in my f150 without it being full screen.

Has nothing to do with it not being big enough to see. The CarPlay UI looks better than the Ford UI, so I would prefer to only have it visible and only see the Ford stuff when I need to.

I had the same issue. I pulled the fuse for the Telematics (fuse 20 I think) and it reset the modem. Everything connected and worked after that.
ok I guess I too stupid to figure out to access it. Online manual looks like it’s under the steering wheel. Manual on stand looks like passenger side. I can’t get into either afraid of breaking things.

Grab the panel under the steering wheel and pull it towards the seat from the top. The fuse panel is behind the headlight switch.
