I don’t want Alexa in my truck….
Just think this will be great for The police the FBI the government of any sort they will just be able to stop the car anytime they want to. Now I can just imagine some of you are saying ...... no that won’t happen. For you people ill just say ... sure you must be right. 😮

Why doesn’t this level of privacy invasion outrage more people? This is not for me.

As someone who doesn't use Siri, Cortana, Bixby, etc. What is Alexa going to do for me that I want? Amazon music isn't going to help me out, the vast majority of my music is not on Amazon music, and I don't want to pay for streaming data for every second I am on the road anyway. I have no need to shop from the car, I don't really want remote start (when I lived where -50F was a real thing every winter -- and most days in January -- I could see it, but not where I am now). I guess I don't see a benefit at all.

I'm already creeped out by our phones listening to us when they tell us its not. Now we are going to trust ole Jeff and believe that he isn't listening inside and outside of our truck? That thing is getting disabled as soon as I figure out how.

I want no part of Alexa/Amazon eavesdropping in my car...but if you are telling me you are committing to us having Bronco's by this fall then this is not all bad news. Frankly, I figured any update Ford would have to do on our systems by then would just be done in the massive parking lot of top-less Broncos... Maybe it still will be, but...

It's amazing to me that companies that make these decisions can't seem to wrap their head around the notion that while things like Alexa and Google and Siri are useful, WE DONT WANT THEM EVERYWHERE.
Yes. But they don’t care what YOU want.

I make use of the modem on my Escape for scheduled starts. I wonder if Alexa can be disabled without losing that capability.
