Dealership took care of the bolt. They didn't have touch up paint for it but luckily enough, I have 2 touch up pens so Repainted and almost can't tell. Will apply second coat and some clear at a later date.
One good thing, ceramic and PPF looks
PHENOMENAL!

So I recently bought a Braptor as a many know. Was excited as I traded a new 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon X 2 door for the Braptor. Nothing but problems with it during the 4 months I had it. In the shop 8 times.
I thought Ford might have higher QC than Stellantis as I have had 8 ford's in my 40+ years of driving.
Long story short, took the Braptor to my Ceramic guy for ceramic and PPF the hood. Got a call last night. Need to come see this.
After a level one paint correction, you can see crap in the clear coat, small divits, and worst of all in my opinion, see photo.
How in the hell does this get past QC on the line and then PDI at the dealer?
Was not happy. If we hadn't been putting in a K&N air filter might have not seen this for a while. Right side is fine but you can see that movement has chipped away at some paint at the bracket..Ceramic guy hesitant to tighten bolt as concerned it could strip. Recommended Dealer do it.
Called the Sales GM at dealership and raised holy hell. Hopefully they fix this.

That's pretty sad and potentially a safety issue. A flying BRaptor hood on I-5 would be bad PR for Ford. Sadly, the price tag has very little to do with the quality of just abouyt anything anymore. The same UAW kids scew together 100k BRaptors as 33k base 2 doors. If you think they're stopping to notice a partially toghtened hood, that ain't happening. And dealer PDI pretty much consists of stripping the plastioc covers off the seats and carpet, running it through the wash rack and maybe checking to make sure all 4 tires are on it. When I ordered my last company car (a GM product), the dealer called me to tell me it would be in the next day. I had a couple hours open in the morning so I went and saw the silver Impala I'd ordered still on the carrier that had just pulled in. While I completed the paperwork, the dealer pulled my car off the transport, moving 3 other cars to do so and sent it back for PDI. In 45 minutes it was parked in front of the showroom, still wet in places, a gallon of tire shine on the blackwalls and a paper mat in the drivers floorboard. Between gas, the sash and pulling the plastics, there could not have been time to check the oil, let alone any fasteners. I guess they figure that's what warranty is for. Good luck with your Ford dealer, if it's anything like our local Ford dealer, they'll tighten the bolt and put a huge scratch in the fender.

Looks amazing! Sadly I’m amazed with the QC problems with Ford and sadly for me I have a Bronco and Aviator and both have had problems after problems.

My Bronco goes back next week, I have the slippage when you release brake peddle and from this forum seems like my rear drivetrain needs to be replaced. I think I’m going to start leasing again and hand it back, I sure wouldn’t care as much! So frustrating as I like the Bronco a lot ugh

So sorry to hear my friend! Seems like this is pervasive from manufacturer to manufacturer...
QC is gone and volume seems to be the number one focus...
Quality/reliability be damned..

Man - that braptor is gorgeous... hear you on the QC though... Ford QC is dogshit.. i am so disappointed in the things ive seen on here an experienced myself. I pointed out a glob of paint/indentation on my FE door sill the the week after I got it. They took pictures, promised me it would be addressed and nothing. Other little things here and there as well... theres a seam in the steering wheel cover, ive seen it on several other broncos as well, how does this shit fly??? They capitalized on the demand for this beautiful truck but no way in hell the car is up to par on quality for the price.
