Took the wife to see one of her bucket list items, Mt. Rushmore. While in Rapid City SD, saw this secret program vehicle from Ford on an attempt to improve reliability!

Oohhhh... gotcha. Had no idea.

Every TRD-branded vehicle I've seen just has a simple red TRD logo. Didn't realize they had a specific color scheme to their branding.

I read that as Ford Raptor Turd because that’s always what I think of when I see the TuRD lettering.

I'm sitting here thinking about every TRD-branded vehicle I've seen on the road and every NASCAR team that drives Toyota... and I've personally never seen that color scheme/pattern before. Odd considering there are tons of TRD Tacomas on the road.

BUT, I just checked their website and they do have a 4Runner with the colors. So... ya know... I just live under a rock I guess.
