Do you think cracks in a $60k truck should be considered normal?

This is 100% correct. Not an issue of an inexperienced supplier but poor cost-cutting decisions on the part of the OE.
not saying this is not possible.......but a lot of speculation here.

Obviously they are not made out of recycled Ikea furniture.

Mine with 42 miles on the odometer; with the dealer’s delivery guy still at my house:

This is absolutely unacceptable
Sure is. There were several things that I noticed immediately that were not right with this truck that I assume will be warranty items, but the fact that I’m learning Ford is trying to deny this is a problem to others is beyond ludicrous. Shameful.

Ford trying to shirk warranty issues is done serious BS. I’m beyond g the ranch they knew this was going to be an issue long ago. Now it’s stick their head in the sand time ?

I haven’t seen any cracks in my top, but I also haven’t had it off road in any kind of suspension bashing terrain.

this seems like a body flex issue, and it’s maybe torquing the tops. Just a wild ass guess though.

Many folks tops are cracking (in the same damn locations) and the vehicles are less than a year old ?

Unless ford has some fine print in their sales ticket about cracking tops this is a cut, and dry warranty issue.

My wife’s bronco top has the cracks without any body flexing whatsoever. Noticed them with 2k miles. Only drives to work and back and its garage kept.
