Perhaps you have not seen the hundreds of posts from people that are:
  • Buying the open air experience
  • Delaying their order for a Modular Top
  • Delaying their order for a Painted White Top
I would buy a Bronco with a fixed hard top in a second, I don't need the removable one.
Yes but if the bronco wasn't what it is otherwise it wouldn't matter what the roof did or was.

The Bronco is lovely and the Bronco can go topless/doorless!

However there are many who will never go topless or remove the doors for various reasons.

Should Ford add a Bronco variant that is exactly the same but with a fixed roof and regular doors that don’t come off?

Advantages:
1. Lower price
2. More weather resistant top
3. Better sound and temperature insulated
4. Take away sales from other fixed roof SUVs

Basically offer a version just as handsome and off road capable but with these advantages and without ability to go “naked”.

What do you think?
I think they should. It’s a smart move.
No. Why? The base is reasonably inexpensive. Why spend all that money re-engineering something To be not as good? Just buy a used one in a few years if it’s too much

I am good with it the way it is. The hard tops offer those who don't want to go topless virtually the same as a hard top but with the added appeal & resale value to others when they sell it.

This was a terrible idea in August and it’s still a terrible idea today. The post is dead! Long live the post!

Im still trying to think of an SUV that was offered with both a removable top and a "fixed-roof".
suzuki samurai was offered in both convertible and a tin top....in my opinion getting the tin top defeated the purpose of buying a samurai by some people like them.

I would also prefer a tin top Bronco if that meant a lower price and faster availability

Also never have to worry about leaks, less road noise, more rigidity, more roof loading capacity.

Ya, I love my Bronco but geez I wish it got better gas mileage. And/or well a bigger gas tank so I did not have to gas it up every other day. Even my 2019 Silverado netted me 26 MPG with a 5.3 V8. And it had a 30 gallon tank so I could go 4 days before I had to gas it up when I used it for work. The Bronco, at least my Sas 2 door is fine- even if I don't remove the doors or roof panels I know I can. And the price at like 40K was good too.
