There's nothing shameful in calling out the government's shortcomings in responding so far - Donald Trump's and other federal and state leaders' complete failure to respond early and forcefully are the reason we couldn't contain it with testing/contact tracing/quarantine and instead have to shut down the economy. Glad things are starting to kick into gear now, but dear leader was calling this a hoax in early March while Fox News decried to it's base that COVID19 was just an overblown political hit job designed to scare Americans that should know better. Newsflash, that's fucking unacceptable when responding to a public health crisis.

Remember when the people receiving intelligence briefings in Jan responded by selling stock and telling their cronies instead of taking action to prepare the country, all while assuring the public everything was fine? Remember when Donald Trump ignored these reports for two months and took no action to start ramping up test capacity or implementing social distancing measures because it's China's problem? Remember when travel bans were imposed after community spread had already taken hold? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Maybe if the president had just done his fucking job for a few weeks instead of focusing his efforts on undermining his own government agencies, lying about meaningless shit, peddling baseless conspiracy theories, calling people childish names, and generally having the temperment of a demented toddler, the"shameful" press wouldn't have to waste everyone's time calling out his bullshit.

I'd much rather be hearing about all his W's, but that requires actually winning which is rare these days despite what the Fox News propaganda machine is telling you.

Trump got called racist by you liberals for shutting down travel with China in January. While you were still shrieking that’s it was unfair that impeachment wasn’t going your way. You ilk said he was overreacting by shutting down travel from Europe. You should look within for mishandled reactions.

I don’t think Trump did us any favors by continuing to downplay the effect of the virus until it was already really bad, but it seems he’s responding to it correctly now and that’s what matters. We all make mistakes. But now is not a time for political bickering tbh. Except against Chyna, it’s insanely obvious at this point that they 100% lied about this shit and they need to take ownership of this Chinese virus. It is 100% their fault and honestly fuck em.

We have many major businesses shutting down because these people are allowed to steal thousands of dollars a day. People here elected a person raised by, and sympathetic to, terrorists. Criminals are treated as is they are misunderstood children. We have a mayor who tried to get her brother who is in prison for murder set free. And the politicians think we should take them seriously about their “orders.”

But oh wait....California also has the WORST wealth inequality in the world. So...there must be something I'm not aware of that prevents these folks from donating to charity, or hey, just add another $mill to your tax bill in April.

BTW, if you're not concerned that a president illegally withheld military aid and sent his personal lawyer overseas to circumvent official diplomatic channels and pressure a foreign government into publicly announcing an investigation into his political rival, and then smothered the investigation into his misconduct through obstruction and misdirection while Devin Nunes, himself complicit in the president's scheme, defended his actions from a position of power on the investigating committee...well, then it appears you're part of the problem that needs to be fixed.
