question: has there been any discussion to include an attaching point at the rear of the roof to secure the rear portion of the roof rack without the clam shell top?

seems like a cheap adapter bracket would solve it

Absolutely want to see the answer to this question...specifically on base with MT. If answer is no I will be very disappointed that Ford would seem to be not really listening to or understanding off-roaders and/or trying to drive buyers to pricier trim levels. Thanks for asking it

Those twitter comments are a mess. I think we are going to get answers to all the questions that are already answered but people didnt take the time to look and any questions with new information will be ignored.
