I promise I tried to search for this before this post as I am sure this has been discussed, but I could not find anything.

How large of a difference was the all-in cost vs the price you see on the Ford site after building your perfect build.

Example: I built an Outerbanks/Lux/Hardtop/2.7L with some accessories and the total shows $59,905. How much more should I expect to be added in dealership fees, delivery fees, tax (Im from Ohio), etc?

I also have A/Z planning if anyone has experience with that.

If you have access to the AXZ pin website, you can use the Build and Price tool link on the site to view A/Z pricing (its the only available option for Bronco-you can't view dealer inventories yet). Delivery fees should be shown on the pricing summary section at the bottom of the build page. Taxes/Title/Registration/etc fees are calculated by your dealer based on your residency.

My price after everything was exactly what the build calculator said, but it really all depends on which dealership you go through.
Make sure you get your final price in writing and it's worth checking with members in your area to find a dealer with no ADM.

These are excellent questions for your dealer.

BUT... it is extremely dealer-specific, and obviously dependent on the state you live in. In some states (like Ohio)—the locale you live/buy in also matters since many states also have local taxes.

A/Z plan is a few hundred dollars above invoice pricing, which is usually $2000 - $4000 below MSRP depending on the exact vehicle—the plan pricing website lists the base costs, and I assume your dealer looked up the plan price for you when you placed your order (although since you are asking the question, maybe not). Keep in mind it will depend on if your dealer is accepting plan pricing or not. Most dealers DO accept plan pricing, but there is no rule that they MUST accept your plan pin, and a handful of dealers are not on the Bronco since they can easily sell it above MSRP if you bail.

I would say dealer documentation fees and registration fees range from $200 to $800. If you have A/Z plan pricing those documentation fees are capped to a specific amount. That amount used to be $100 plus a $200 program fee. But not sure what it is nowadays, you'd have to check the plan pricing website to see what the latest fees are.

Taxes I can't even accurately predict because I don't know what your local tax rate is... but you should probably plan on paying $3000 - $5000 in taxes.

So youre out the door price was the same price as the Ford website price! Thought all dealerships had some sort of extra charges.

Your dealer should be able to tell you their doc fees
Registration and titling fees are different in each state
Destination and delivery is listed on the summary sheet of your build
You can look up Ohio's new vehicle tax on the internet
A/Z plan is roughly 0.96 times list price.

I get the impression you have never bought a new car before. I suggest you do A LOT more research on car buying and the dealership you plan on using.

Your grandma would need to have access to the site as it will require her to login using her Ford credentials. You'd want to make sure the dealer is willing to sell Bronco's at A/Z plan--they aren't required to participate, so it's best to have that conversation first before ordering.

I have not! I drive a 2010 Ford Fusion that I have as a gift and have been driving the wheels off of it. So its a big jump from that to a new Bronco.

Been trying to watch videos and read up on it, but its difficult to feel confident.

That's one of the best things about A/Z pricing, you dont have to haggle on the selling price. All you have to negotiate is the tradein value (if you're trading) and interest rate, if you're financing, but you are required to let the dealer know up front that you are using A/Z plan.

I ordered Monday and the difference was about $4k for taxes, registration and doc fee. I also have the z plan. I am expected around $4.5k - $5k off as my msrp is about $65k
With z plan I think dealers have to cap doc fees at $75? But not 100% sure.

If you’re in the Cleveland area, check out Bob Gillingham Ford, my salesman, Eric was great to deal with.
I got AXZ on my Bronco
They do not add dealer markup
Get a DORA it will be your build
Get a contract with all taxes and document
fees.
Signed by mgr and your signature
And get ready for the long wait
Again dealer allocation my come into play
I waited 15 months
Was a first order for My22 when order banks opened
Was built on the last day of production of 22 model year
Missed being a 2023 by 180 units
Also get your warranty From Granger Ford
Best price around
Do your research and good luck

Im in Toledo, so I am close enough that it could definitely be worth it.

What is a DORA?
Would the warranty from granger be additional. Does Ford not have a warranty themselves?

Appreciate the help!!

The market shouldn't be as bad as it was several month ago. You should be able to get MSRP or just over MSRP with whatever the dealer tries forcing to add on. Also note that, no add ons can be forced, it says it in the documents you sign...so if it gets to that point you can just point out their own paperwork says "all add ons are optional".

You should be able to ask your dealer for an out the door price. When I took delivery, I expected 6% tax, but DC upped the taxes on SUV's and heavier vehicles so my taxes went up to 9% !!
