The new 5.0 version of FordPass has officially launched and is available in app stores! Design seems much nicer, there's now a dark mode, and slide to start is much easier than holding the button down and watching it spin.

How do you enable dark mode?

Yeah just updated mine. This is improvement in my opinion, at least for the simple functions most commonly used.

I’ve had this visual update for probably a month now.. guessing it’s out for everyone now. I wish they’d let you use a custom photo for your car instead of that tiny lil pixel bronco

How do you enable dark mode?

May have jumped the gun on dark mode, it was in the betas but I'm not seeing it in this release

Nice, just downloaded it on my Android and confirmed it has dark mode. I think it goes based off of your system settings so if you change that to dark mode it should change the app too.

Yup. Looks like they removed warranty info. That’s kinda weird.

Yes, this is irritating. Hope they add it back in a future release.

If you are on the iOS App Store you have to click the app and then it will show you that it needs to be updated.

At this point, I’d revert back to yesterday’s update to retain the missing information

This app used to have tire pressure and oil life, right? RIGHT?!

Soon it's just going to be a stock photo of the Bronco and nothing more.
