So they mention more than once that they "hear us and are listening" when it comes to having a manual transmission with 35s, but that's a flat out "no" on a manual with a 2.7

Manual with 35s is a question of who's gonna buy it and how much is it going to cost in warranty work.
The manual does not physically bolt to the 2.7 and likely can't handle the power.

A drain plug that will allow water to drain if you’re stuck out in the rain, vs an active plug that you can remove for hosing out a muddy interior.
Sounds like you should be able to hose out with the passive system. Advisable to pull carpet first, obviously. Vinyl flooring should have been a stand alone option, honestly.

Is it over? From what I can tell they spent only 30 minutes answering questions based on their last post. Unless they are skipping way down the list.

Edit: I see they are skipping way down the list

Correct, but my guess is the passive drainage is not as efficient or user friendly as the active. Also in agreement on standardizing vinyl.

WTH is a passive drain plug?
A passive drain plug is a hole.

Have they not answered the V8 question? Most of the questions answered seem like small fish in comparison.
