I don't know if anybody mentioned this but the little plaque in the center is shaped like a bronco and the screws look like headlights

There is a button in the back of the glove box. When you push it while driving in reverse at precisely 21 mph it activates the light grey seat material.
The sad part about your post is that someone on this forum probably believes you.

No. It’s all push button.

Sasquatch can show you how it works.

If MT can have push button starting, why cant the MT have remote start as well? Toyota had one.
And I rigged my MT 98 F150 to have one. I loat the ability to have cruise control, but Ford is smarter than I am, they can work that out.

The "Start/Stop" button resembles the headlights with the accent line to the side as shown in the image attached.

Wondering what else is tucked away in this thing.
Standard power symbol...if anything the headlights are copying it ;)

If you wanted remote start they’d have to add a gear lever position sensor that operates during key off. There’s no benefit to that sensor...except for remote start.

During normal vehicle operation gear can be calculated in the PCM by engine speed vs vehicle speed.

With the push button start, you still have to have the clutch pushed in to start it. The problem with remote start in a manual vehicle is that you have to have a clutch override, and some people leave their vehicle in gear when parked, meaning it would lurch forward and potentially hit something. I am not sure of a vehicle on the market from the factory with manual transmission and remote start. It is a CYA for Ford.
