I'd say that its more than likely a guide pin for initial soft top installation during production. It looks like its had plenty of use. It was probably left in there when someone went on break. You're either missing a fastener for your soft top, or they pulled that pin out and set it to the side and forgot it while they were installing the top. Make sure the driver side and passenger side rear attaching points have all the same fasteners in the same places and you should be good.

Thanks, I'll likely go free from any additional mats year long. I mean, it's kind of a built in WeatherTech already, no?
Obviously unrelated to the thread, but, I wouldn’t recommend going without mats even with the washout floors - over time the floor will show significant wear and tear, and is going to be a lot harder to fix than getting new floor mats.

To each their own - just something to factor into your thinking. I got the factory rubber floor mats and they’re doing their job nicely so far.

Good point, I wasn't taking wear an tear into account. More so thinking of just dirt in general. Time to use some of the 42,000 points I guess . . .

My guess would be a roller pin off the tooling at the manufacturing plant, just a heads up people all Broncos built after this one will be misaligned somewhere😜🍍🍕

If it was a grenade pin it would have teeth marks in it.
My vote for most useless but hilarious post of this thread. I almost choked on my lunch 🤣

I don't think it's a ejector pin for a mold but It looks like it could be a suction cup for moving the parts around.. does it have a hole through it?

Hmmm . . . yes. Looks like I should also have:

* 20,000 points (~$100) - Bonus points for reserving a Bronco before December 2020

My account still only shows 42,000 (picked it up on 1/03)
Did you ever get your additional 20,000 points?
