Ford has hired a company to make the official unofficial bronco nation site. The admin guy here seems to work with/for ford considering all the ford testing-ground photos he's able to break.

Is it really out of the realm of possibility that in addition to paying people to run bronco websites, they're also paying people to post on them and shill the company?
Since pre-launch I've seen many Ford "leak" photos appear on multiple websites within an hour. It is better to realize these staged leak photos are simply media releases intended to look like real leaks, regardless of the staged shots, with the drivers sitting still, like no one is suppose to notice.

There are plenty of forum members here that bleed Ford blue and no matter how stupid a mistake Ford makes, poor quality or poor design decisions, regardless, those people will defend Ford to the death. They are the shills, not Doug (the Admin).

If Doug were a shill for Ford, they would not have sent him a cease and desist letter from Bronco Nation.

WOW.... alright well apologies to Doug then. That's slimy AF, sending a lawyer after a forum filled with your own supporters and fans simply for posting news and images you made publicly available on the internet? I just don't understand what kind of bigbrain attacks people who are freely advertising your product and website?

Fuck those guys. I'm glad I never paid for one of their lame subscriptions.

Very glad my order was a bit later on. I’m in no rush. Happy to avoid these growing pains. That said… where the hell is the quality control? Isn’t someone looking at these things along the way?

Confirm SEVEN Quarts of oil filled, not six. - Are you going to check both differentials, transmission, and transfer case too?

Check for rail dust (small specs of rust that will corrode). Must be clay barred off and repainted, or try iron/rust remover. - You expect the dealership to clay bar the entire body and repaint the truck? Really?

Sound deadening installed - Would you know what is missing? I know I wouldn't.

Check underneath for corrosion - You are going to claim, what, surface rust? You may want to get familiar with the Ford rust warranty...

Full tank of gas (we paid for it!) - It's nicety or a courtesy, and most dealers do fill the tank, but I'm not sure any of us "pay" for it.

Lighten up...it's simply a checklist, and a start towards discussion and documentation. Sound deadening = hardliner.

Great list, thank you.

Here's a new one, a reversed 2.7 belt.

Do people really think that the body shops use rattle cans to paint vehicles? Most body shops have very good painting facilities. I’d have no issues having the body shop paint it.
Some are even better then the factory paint.

Love this list. Thank you.

You might add something about checking the wiring harness clip next to the drivetrain, as seen in this post: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...lfunction-error-2-7-badlands-sasquatch.28734/

I couldn't agree more. It has me re-thinking my order. Do I wait a year to get it and take the risk of poor quality? I don't know, I'll have to decide that soon. Every growing issue I hear about makes me less and less inclined to throw my money at a product that obviously isn't ready for prime time.
I've already waited almost a year for mine, I hope they build it in Prime Time!

Yeah, like installing the wrong back seat! 🤯 🤔o_O
Or the wrong driver's seat back like we got!! Unreal @Ford Motor Company !!

our blend date was 11/12..... a Friday.......

Ford Bronco Friday build woes. My Bronco delivered with unpainted tailgate and fuel door IMG_6458

I can only laugh at this. WTF? Like seriously how many along the lines missed this they should all be fired but wait union rules don’t allow that.
I worked for Big Pharma, and there were instances there, where union employees would arrive for work drunk (to produce medicines!), and they were unable to fire them due to Union agreements. So, they were reassigned to be overpaid janitors. The number of janitors in that building was absurd.....

Ford is laughing all the way to the bank.... Seriously.... Think about it.. They can produce junk and people will still buy it, most likely pay more than sticker for it, And they're even being voted the best of the____ for 2021 when they actually haven't produced anything really tangible.

People used to say this fiasco would make for a great business study... I agree, but probably for different reasons. It's probably more how bad a company could screw up and still be on top of the world.
If Ford doesn't get this under control and address things and make things right, it is going to be a case study on how a company can screw up, see short-term success and then experience a massive fall - the fall of Ford Motor Company.

There are a lot of people like myself, who are buying their very first Ford product. The Bronco is a great conversion vehicle - get people into the Ford brand and hook them for life. I've admired the F-150 Raptor for a while and was thinking about replacing my GMC truck with it (I've been a long-time GM owner - I've always owned at least one GM vehicle). While my dealer was fantastic, if the quality of this truck is abysmal, I won't be returning to Ford - ever.
