So about 6 weeks ago, my beloved 2012 fj cruiser was traded in (was having some issues that needed attention - leaking radiator, leaking power steering lines, leaking transmission lines ). All fixed.

Was not feeling confident going into winter with the fj.

Anyway, so traded it in for this

2022 Subaru impreza sedan sport.
Have had it 4 wks when I figured out that although it drives great, I feel like I'm sitting on the road - it is very low with not much ground clearance.

So.... today, in 8 hours, I take delivery of this

2022 Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison.

Will report back with my impressions .

Thanks

Well maintained FJ is probably one of the most reliable vehicles on the road. Curious why you weren't confident in it.

That is indeed a quick turnaround time! Does that mean you'll be rid of the Subaru as well?

Will definitely be interested to hear how you like that ZR2 Bison!

So, with 130,000 miles on it and 9 harsh Pennsylvania winters, I just thought that there "could" be other things to go wrong.

It was great for solid 8 years - only regular maintenance and tires. But over the past year I've had other things that needed replaced on it as well. I just didn't want to keep throwing money at it when I don't know when I will get my Bronco. I reserved Oct 15,2020. So I could be waiting awhile.

And the Subaru was cleaned out last night. It gets traded in today for the zr2.
