Anyone already considered/tried fabricating the red pieces to bolt to the OEM brush guard/bumper to create a full protection design? I know there are MANY out there from various companies offering a complete replacement, but I’m just considering this mod. It would take fabing tubes, welding ends, drilling holes for fasteners, powder coating and bolting down.

With the right tools and materials pretty much anything can be fabricated, but last time I checked the price of steel and the additional $520 cost of the OEM safari bar, it would be hard to beat the JCR product that’s already done…unless of course you just want something custom that you made yourself. 🤷‍♂️

Yeah…cost would climb for sure. I do like the idea of being able to remove the bars if need be without removing the bumper. I also like the looks of my 4runner version better. I emailed that company suggesting my design, so we’ll see if any response/interest
