Front Bumper Parking Sensors - outsides disconnected?

I was adding in a 4x4truckleds bracket for diode dynamics lights, and realized that the 2 outside parking sensors on the bumper are not connected to anything? is it safe to assume that if i replaced the bumper at some point, i won't need 2 outside sensors installed? I thought i read something somewhere, but i couldn't find the post

I can confirm that mine are not connected as well. I went to the LA auto show and took a look at their 1 braptor, it too was disconnected. They are not dummy sensors, I swapped them and they work, I dont know if its some how wireless or just unplugged, but I didnt see any harness leading to it

I am not sure they are connected on mine. I can feel back of sensor, but no wires. Going to do a test to see if they work or figure out how to see in there.
