The dealer installed a front license plate bracket and drilled holes into the front facia of my beloved Bronco. Would you all...

1) Leave the license plate and bracket up front?
2) Patch the holes?
3) Leave the holes and get over it?

What would you do? BTW...I recognize this is a silly and insignificant topic...so go easy on me. Ha!

I am terrified of this exact thing happening with mine. Stupid Virginia laws...

I would take it off and figure out a way to plug/fill/paint the holes.

Man that sucks sorry they did that to your Bronco.

If it were me I'd either leave it to cover the holes, the damage is done. Or try to fill them in somehow but I am afraid that might make a bad situation worse.

Just curious did you tell them before hand not to do this? I only ask because I planned on emailing my salesman when my delivery comes up and specifically asking them to not install a bracket.

Fix holes or get a cool bumper.

Is if drilled and you don't mind the location, just leave it. I assume you need a front plate anyway.

Every time I'm at my dealer, I tell them, no front plate....

Buy a set of bumper plugs if you don't like the location of the license plate.

Amazon, hardware stores or something like this... https://bumperplugs.com/

I've seen something like this used:
Ford Bronco Front License Plate & Bracket Installed by Dealer. What To Do Now? 1636030849491

They're on Amazon in kits of dozens. You may not be able to color-match the bumper plugs, so black may be a viable option.

It would piss me off if I told them not to. But I don't think it would be a deal breaker if I really wanted it. I'd get over it eventually.

Get two stainless hex socket button head bolts with nuts and lock washers. 1/4” x 20, 1/2” long. Ace Hardware.

You could do something like this:

I used plugs like these on my Caddy and used touch up paint to paint them. Just find plugs sized per your screw holes

This is probably the best option. I mean it's not really in a spot that's right out there in your face. You would hardly notice it.

Another option, although probably cheesy, would be to put a small LED bulb in each hole as a marker light. Like I said a little cheesy. But it would be different.

Sadly I don't have any advice, it sucks ass they put it on. Thankfully my dealer shouldn't since I'm getting it from a state that doesn't require front plates.

This is what I was going to suggest. In the event that you absolutely need to have a front plate per you DMV then could you lower the plate by attaching the plate using the top holes?
