Raptor also has those starter holes. You can see the starter holes just above the bumper when you look at front end pics. I'm with you on making sure the dealer does not install it! Pic from @Philly thread.
We already went through this once with the same results.this will be a fun thread
My state (NJ) does but I still don’t mount a front plate to my vehicles. I’ve never had a problem, possibly because a neighboring state (PA) doesn’t require one. I’m happy to pay a ticket for it if it comes to that.Boy am I glad my state doesn’t require that crap.
I’m in a western state, since 2014 my Fusion hasn’t been pulled over for no stinking plate!!!!Damn those front plate states; like mine!!!
Exactly, even if you mount it on the part that doesn't come off, it still comes off with a screwdriver. Not like it is permanent. So, I don't understand the issue with the Mod bumper. Attach it to the lower removable part and when on trail you remove the end part that has the license plate because you don't need it.
Likewise. Thank you TennesseeBoy am I glad my state doesn’t require that crap.
I'm surprised to find out the dealer can even let a car drive off the lot without all legal requirements here in California . Would be nice to spare having unnecessary holes drilled into car before I decide where I want to mount plate ...Blocks the trailcam, too, I presume? Lmao
If your state requires a front plate you need to have your dealer delete it on your order because I think they will put it on at the factory, I could be wrong about it and if you ask my wife it wouldn't be the first timeDo I have to tell the dealer to mention in the order? I thought the dealer drills them in and was just planning to tell them not to do it!
I've ran multiple vehicles in Washington sans front plate and never been bothered by the law in over 20 years. My collectors vehicle plates only come with 1 plate per vehicle also. Either I've been lucky or they don't really care in my area. Here in WA st we can apply to have front license exempt, but unable to get the paperwork started untill I get vin #
So I hope I I'll be able to elude the popo until then.
