Kind wish I would have ordered the winch now so I could just get a fairlead mount.

That looks freaking tacky.

Those aren't starter holes for the license plate. Not U.S. plates, anyway, which are only 12" wide. The holes would need to be about 11" on center. Maybe you're looking at the Euro-spec Bronco. 😄
The holes are to mount the bracket, not the plate.

It's tough to tell but it looks like those dimples are about 10-11" apart.

It may be too low also. Here in AZ, the bottom of the plate needs to be at least 12 inches above the ground.
That just sounds like you need bigger tires for better license plate clearance.

Why would the bracket need to be almost 6" wider than the plate?
What the heck are you talkin' about?

Those starter dimples are about 10" apart... they certainly are not further apart than 12"... which is how wide a plate is.

I believe he was looking at these two points. I could be wrong though.

You are wrong. The holes are on the body color about 10 inches apart.
I'm aware, I was saying that I believed that the person you responded to may have been looking at those two points in confusion.

So for a base, is partially blocking the smaller intercooler worse than partially blocking the radiator? Will it get enough airflow if put on the center of the bumper?

Oh, I was looking at the grey part. It looked like there were starter holes at the 1/2" and 17 1/2" marks. Didn't even think to look up at the orange part. What were they trying to measure?
