This was the universal bracket.

It doesn't block much so I'm not concerned about cooling, this blocks less opening area than the factory location.

I have one of these ready for delivery of my truck in the next few days hopefully.

you can relocate where the shackle mount is mounted to the plate mount. There are 5-7 different locations (see all the holes in the plate)

im thinking moving the shackle mount to the top center holes will keep it low and out of the way of the sensors
Did you actually do this?

This is kind of my plan. Except I'm going to make it follow the skid plate underneath. Will be pointed down, but meh. At least it is there.

Having it laser/formed/powder coated this week.

Are you going to sell them?

Not sure if it's marketable. It points down quite a bit. My wife said she would rather just run without a plate until she gets a ticket.

I could make them and sell if people want them. Can powder coat also.

Do you know if NJ requires the plate to be centered on the front bumper?
My design bends back over sharply to keep the height up. Some states have height from the ground requirements so this design elevates the tag higher.

I do not. I only verified 12” off the ground.

Here is an example of what Nebraska requires. Right, center, left - none of that matters for the front plate.

In all cases such license plates shall be securely fastened in an upright position to the motor vehicle or trailer so as to prevent such plates from swinging and at a minimum distance of twelve inches from the ground to the bottom of the license plate

For all the unfortunate souls like me that are required by law to mount the front license plate: Has anyone seen any interesting options or alternatives to the stock mount?
If you have the steel bumper, we've got a solution for you expected to be back from production in a few weeks.

It mounts to 2 of the 3 lower accessory bolts on the bottom of your bumper. It's less of an eye sore here and doesn't block any sensors, light openings, etc... completely out of the way.

If you decide to take your truck off-road we've designed it for quick and easy removal. Just remove the 2 bolts from the tabs on the bracket and you can remove the entire assembly and you won't risk snagging the plate on anything on the trail. When you are done, re-attach the plat to stay legal in your state.

Made from .080" aluminum and powder coated (here in the United States) with a lifetime warranty.

The kit includes the license plate bracket along with hardware to mount your plate to it.

Found a flip up on Amazon to attach to Bronco Bolts above the tow shackle.

If you go a Mod bumper and 3/8" drill bit, you've got a free mount. I mounted mine like this. Also, just gave it a slight bend for more "visibility"? First time I've run a front plate in more then a decade so my thought is better then nothing haha
