Hey everyone! I am new to the forum but wanted to show off my license plate bracket that I made…it has not been powder coated yet, but looks pretty good in my opinion.

Looks nice, did you do any before and after temperature tests on your Intercooler to see if you are overheating it by blocking some of the cooling air?

I would love to put mine right there but this is my worry as well.

This is what I ended up doing for mine, modified a tow hook mounting bracket to work with a Bronco Bolt:

No I have not run temperature test before or after the inter cooler. The ACC is already blocking a good chunk in front of the inter cooler anyway, so not too terribly concerned there. Plus many of the winch add-ons are blocking this area completely, so I figure the limited area that I am blocking will have a minimal effect.

That is the theory but many of us are very concerned about the Intercooler blocking winch mounts and will not be purchasing them.

I will do some investigating on this and respond when I get results.

Slight modification to my design…allows for air to flow through and still shows the custom lettering. I may add a backlight to it to really make it stand out.

I fabricated my own with a piece of 1x1 angle iron and a pair of 3/8" bolts.

I installed the kentrol bracket on a bronco at our dealership. Came out great with no sensor interference. For those concerned about clearance, I could probably move the height adjustment up one notch and to the right and still be ok.

Does it trip the sensor that is near it?

No. There are adjustment holes on the back. You can position it out of the way.
