They are definitely moving in the right direction! Hopefully the final version is something easily removable without permanent holes in your paint.

Does this one look like it only mounts to the bumper and not to the body? If it just bolts into pre-existing bolt holes on the bumper at least it makes it much easier to run a front bumper until a better solution comes from the aftermarket without worrying about putting permanent holes in the body.

Is it mounted that high because of the active air vents below it? Looks terrible
On the 2011-2014 F-150, the V8 got its license plate right in the middle of the bumper:

While the EcoBoost version had its license plate off to the side to allow better airflow to the intercooler:

I'd wager it's something similar on the Bronco since both engines will have an intercooler there.

Ford would make bank on upgrades to the Modular bumper if one of its features was "alternative license plate mounts."
