Front Sensors Lost with Steel Front Bumper?

Surprised that the entire auto industry hasn't found a way to better disguise these sensors into the bumper...

Expedition had one that was radar (these are sonar) so it could be behind the plastic rear bumper. They were buggy and falsed a lot more. The sonar seems to work pretty well, that's the reason I think they stay with them.

This is my biggest attraction to the steel bumper but losing the fog lights and adding thr weight makes me hesitate a bit

Ha, I just had this happen with a garbage truck 2 months ago. At least their insurance is covering the cost.
