I see that the stock wheels on the Bronco are 55 offset. I have a base Bronco on order and want to put on 33” tires with the Fuel d557 wheel with a 6 offset. It should push the tires out about 2”. Does anyone think this would work ok?

At best you want the 0 or +6... -6 would widen the track by almost 3", we don't what tires will fit with something that wide..

Thanks. I am probably ok then.
depending on width, if they are the same 8.5", they will stick out an additional 1.14 inches (approx) farther than the Squatch wheels. Or, 1/4" less than the Overland rig.

Considering how far out the Squatch wheels are and the size of the flares required to cover them....

Here's the Overland rig again:
6mm offset will be only 1/4 inch less reveal than this rig.

Have we had confirmation that overland rig can flex/turn/articulate without hitting a tire into anything? It seems like that rig is mostly parked at events.

I did see it being driven.... verrrrry slowly.... and with wide generous turns.....

For all we know it may have been because it could flip and roll at any moment. But in any event we’re still really too early to know what fits and what doesn’t.

I have read that it isn't even a Squatched rig....it was a VERY early pre-pro model, non sqautch lift, which is why it has that STUFFED look.

As far as clearancing...I will not speculate.
But I would be very curious to know also, as I'm getting a base Base and fully intend to put at least 33's on it asap.

I'm looking at no less than 20 or 25mm offset wheels, personally.

For sure. I saw the overland rig in Seattle. I should have watched when they drove it up onto the sidewalk. I am looking for 20-30mm offset wheels myself. I think I have settled on the Trail Ready Flow form or USA forged wheels with simulated bead locks.

Maybe this thread won't get deleted/lost:

per tiresize.com wheel calculator.
Using what I can gather from the Stig shots of the wheels and assuming the Base wheel is the same Ranger wheel, which has been stated elswhere.

16 x 7 = 55mm offset = 6.17" Backspace (Base)
17&18 x 7.5 = 55mm = 6.42" backspace (BB, BD & OBX)
17 x 8 = 55mm offset = 6.67" backspace (Badlands)
17 x 8.5 = 30mm off = 5.93" backspace (Squatch)

D557 _ 17 x 8.5 _ 6mm offset = 4.99 bs
D557 _ 17 X 8.5 _ -6mm offset = 4.5 bs

Icon has several 17" wheels at 6x139.7 and +25 offset (correct bore, too):

Wheel Collection - Icon Vehicle Dynamics
I keep forgetting to look at the bore size.... Not even sure what it is at this moment.

I spent a lot of time narrowing it down to Method, Icon & Raceline wheels that I like and should work (need to check that center bore now).
(EDIT: NO, the chrome isn't on my list, it just met the drill down specs, lol. But hey, you do you if you like them!)

I also look at the wheel weight. Some are 25 pounds and some get over 30. Lighter is typically better.
