Because Ford made the Bronco as cheaply as possible while maximizing profit. They do spend a lot on manufacturing of the tops. Everything else not so much.

2024 Ford F150 width: 79.9”
2024 Ford F150 Raptor width: 86.6”

2024 Ford Bronco width: 75.9”
2024 Ford Bronco w/Sasquatch width: 79.3”
2024 Ford Bronco Raptor width: 85.7”

We’re talking inches here. The current Bronco is full-size in everything but name. I wish it the current one was smaller. Maybe Farley will be a man of his word and make the next generation Bronco smaller since he said Americans need to love smaller cars again. We can’t buy then if they don’t make them.
Broncos only get bigger on the outside.
there is a huge difference on the inside between an F150 and a ranger … look at the center console and the rear cargo area.
it’s frustrating that you can’t even put golf clubs in the back of a bronco without putting the seat down.

I have an expedition and it’s good for driving in snow but I’d never really consider taking it on serious off road outing.
Coincidentally, neither do most Bronco owners. 😜

I'm for it.
78 &79 Broncos are my favorite years of the full sized.
Something around that size with the retro look would be sweet!
Not sure if people realize that the current 4-dr Bronco is 9 inches longer (189.4") than the '79 (180.3").

yeah. i don't want a 4 door lol
I agree with you. But since the width comparison was posted earlier, I figured to make sure that the audience was aware that the 6G Moar Door is longer than the FSB that people pine for.

Now, if @Toccoa wants to provide their LWB 2-dr 6G rendering, then we can compare a true apples to apples.

Nah, full-sized platform is too large.

Plus the SUV that replaced the 1990s full-sized Bronco is still around today, and still based on the F-150 platform.

I already own an Expedition and it’s great for snow on the road but I would never dream of taking it on a serious off road outing.

Neat idea, but nah. I like the current size. While I'd love a little more room in the interior, it's still better than my 392 and as it is, my work parking lot is a pita to navigate so I don't need anything larger exterior-wise (no raptero for me ever). I've almost considered getting a miata for the summer months to deal with it. lol.

Am I the only one secretly wishing they would release a FULL size Bronco on the F150 frame? For the life of me I cannot understand why this is not available? In addition to the considerable additional interior space from front to back… there are a lot of features they cannot offer on the Ranger frame. One in particular is air cooled VENTED SEATS. Is this just because I have moved from an F150 to a Bronco. I do love my new Bronco but I would upgrade in one second if they had a full sized version.
What are your thoughts?
Then get a f150 Raptor..

I ate a burrito from the mini-mart this morning. Will these ventilated seats help with my problem, or do I need to buy new underwear ?
Perhaps
