3.5.2 was pushed to me on September 23rd. Notes say the same as the last one, but also indicate another larger download will come after this one.

CarPlay leverages a simultaneous connection through both Bluetooth and WiFi at the same time. It will not function with one or the other; it is designed to use both.

Yup. And the regular sync screen will even show that theres no phone connected.
You could not use carplay and just connect via bluetooth. That would only provide phone calls and streaming audio though. No display/interaction.

Works fine with mine that was built in April 2022. I plug in using the USB in the front of the center console. There are times when it takes the Bronco a while to sync to CarPlay and that will happen when connected via USB or wirelessly.

Same, and won't suck your battery dry like wireless carplay does

That’s not where you check the version. Only way in app to to look at the update notices in the message center.

I’ve used CarPlay in around 100 vehicles. I’m not sure any of them have been 100%

The CarPlay on our 19 Mustang is full screen 100%. Sync 3.

I went to pickup lunch and checked in vehicle, and despite FordPass saying 3.5.2, the vehicle said 2.3.1. So.... who the heck knows.

I think my line was poorly understood without the previous message I was replying to.

Both of my cars cover 100% of the screen with CarPlay.

CarPlay has never worked seamlessly in any vehicle.

Well that's good to know, but still no dice. Message Center is empty and SYNC in the truck shows this. Maybe the revision translated to 3.5.2?

The wireless Carplay is really bad on my bronco. It cuts off music all the time. They should work on fixing that as well.

Same. I have two Broncos and both suck for wireless carplay

I’ll believe it when I see it, especially coming from Mike “By September” Levine.

We are still waiting for the OTA software for BlueCruise on our F-150 after 18 months of promises from Ford and already paying for the hardware.

Hopefully this one is a lot easier logistically for Ford to handle.

You know, the company that ran out of Blue oval Ford logos, the one that brought us Ice/Dirt Mountain, and that has also missed most every mark they’ve set in this release.

We're still waiting on the "you can move your order."

generally, the split isn’t a big deal, but if your running nav app (like onX off-road) the extra space would be nice

The split screen car play is better imo. I have the map on the left and the next turn in big font on the right. Looks amazing.
