Fun New Years Day drive to Indian Valley Reservoir (CA)

A few days before New Years Day weekend, I posted in a local Bronco Facebook group, that I was looking to get out of the house for a drive on NY day... but CA has been getting hammered with some rain/snow, so we couldn't go up to the Sierra's where we might normally go, and we had to be cautious about where we went so we didn't get into a mud bog situation - so we settled on an easy trail drive by Indian Valley Reservoir - we ended up doing about 50 miles of trails - there were 3 Broncos, a Ford F-150 FX4 and a well-equipped 4 Runner. It was a beautiful day to be out, we stopped for lunch and some pew-pew time ... some jabber-jawing about our rigs, and overall had a great day out. Enjoy!

It's been about a year since I've been out there. Did some overland camping with a group.

Surprised it wasn't a muddy mess with all this rain. Sounds like fun times (although going through that water makes me cringe )
