It has always been a probable option that "beat"ing Jeep meant stealing their lunch and selling more units, not performance or capability.

    eta:
    Just buy 2-3 Jimny's instead

K....I'll buy 2 Jimny's and duct tape them together for the space I need .

4 dr. Bronco(Raptor) 4 X 4 with IFS, limited slip rear, acceptable shoulder room and better gas mileage than my 08' F 150 and I'll be tickled pink .

    REALLY

The TFL guys are a bunch of weenies, but here is a comparison they did that shows how the Wrangler is in a different league:

Motortrend's Head 2 Head did a comparison between the G-Wagon and a Rubicon with even more illuminating results, but unfortunately the video is subscription only.

I can't believe how cheap the Jimny is compared to the Rubicon and Raptor, ~1/3 the price! I have actually driven one before, and for $15,000-20,000, I'd be all over one. Definitely a better option than a Roxor, just too bad they are all tin tops unlike the old Samurais.
