FYI, if you remove your back doors, you will lose your floor mats in the back. They are not anchored down at all.

Who would have thought that driving with the doors off, would cause such things as floor mats, that are not anchored down, to blow off and get lost?

I’m really surprised they didn’t include secured rubberized floor mats. My VW GTI has them! They have a button that secures then to the floor and they wash off so nicely. Love em.

I will fill this under, NO DUH! Also FYI if you drive with doors off anything that falls out of your pockets is in the wind. You know what Im going to make a short list for anyone who hasnt had a doorless/convertible before.

These Items may be lost when vehicle is in motion:
McDonalds trash
Wendys trash
Burger King trash
Pizza boxes
wild children
wild animals
your "stash"
that imprtant letter you were supposed to mail
your JEGS catalogue
your SummitRacing catalogue
your wallet if your a lefty and driving
your wallet if your a righty and riding
your keys since for some reason they dont go into a slot on the column
your face masks that you throw on the dash
any bananas or avocados you may have on the dash
basically anything not tied down to a completely open moving vehicle may be ejected from the vehicle.

In the old Broncos, we learned to keep a small duffel bag with the handles looped over one of the floor shifters.

Water bottles, smokes, Copenhagen, extra lighters, sunglasses, Wallets if we were at the lake and swim trunks had no pockets etc etc...

That duffel becomes VERY handy to have.

I'd almost be willing to bet the rubber floors will get torn up over time if you don't cover them with at least a basic mat. I realize they're different from Fords F series rubber floors, but the doors in all of our work trucks are quite beat up.

I too learned this the hard way but was lucky that they didn’t blow out completely after taking the doors off for the first time.
