Galpin Ford Bronco Allocation

I've been looking up and down trying to find the number of Broncos being allocated to Galpin. I decided to call since I already submitted my order and deposit. I was told that they're currently allocated for 300 2021 Broncos and are actually trying to negotiate for more.

If anyone was curious that's what I've been told so far.

Well they lost my sale. I might wait longer, but I won't have to put up with the games the salesman was trying to play with me. Said they have over 2k reservations & acted like mine was not all that important to them. And I was even referred to this guy.

I'm confused by the end of that sentence there.... Negotiate for more? As in smaller dealerships will get screwed out of some of their allocation they should get just because a big boy dealership wants it?

The tumor is that the big dealers complained to Ford about the allocation process and that "changed". Big dealerships crying and complaining about that doesn't sound far fetched.

If any dealer can request more, it’s galpin. Ford corporate works with them in many non standard ways. National Commercials..etc

when I was working for Ford as a buyer, they were the only dealer that was also listed as a supplier.

Galpin moves a lot of metal. Of course Ford listens to them.

A separate and distinct sales channel is the only path forward for Ford that makes sense. Allocation + reservations is just stupid.

Stand up direct and put it in competition with legacy.

Best system will win the customers $.
