For those that do your own work on your rigs, what are some tools that you feel are must-haves in your garage? Any tools that really save you a lot of time / effort / headaches?

Ratcheting box end wrenches, electric impact, good 1/4" & 3/8" drive socket set, and a good screwdriver set.

100% agree might also add a big rubber mallet to that list

For whatever reason, spinning lug nuts on or off by hand annoys me, so I was quite happy to acquire a 1/2" impact.
I currently use a Milwaukee 18v cordless .... I can take it with me on road trips.
I haven't acquired a suitable compressor for the garage yet.

Are rolling garage creepers/dollys worth having? Also, I saw an ad for magnetic socket holder strips the other day - would they be handy? Also, any recommendations for impact drivers for tight spots? I think I’ve seen some that have like a 90degree bend at the head?

A Set of TORX PLUS is on the list..
Shouldnt you have a computer in the garage so you can watch youtube vids and ask questions on forum too? ;-) (sarcasm)

Many good suggestions. Don't forget a mid quality 1/2" drive torque wrench (I torque my wheels), and decent needle nose, side cutter, and lineman pliers w/ built in wire strippers. I slowly accumulate my tools. A new job equals a new tool. If you're going to do your own brakes, a caliper retraction tool is in order. A floor jack and good quality dual lock jack stands (not Harbor Freight). The list can be endless. Amazon is your friend.

Take care. Contented
