Here's what they sent me.
It looks fairly tight all the way around. I don't expect I would be driving on the Interstate with the top down anyway.

We have a long drive planned tomorrow on the interstate, we will have the top down and doors off. I will be sure to report back on how it goes.

We took the Bronco with the GearShade on the interstate with the doors off over the weekend. It seems that I did not have the straps secured properly (not locked in place) and over time they loosened causing the rear of the top to become loose. That is what caused the look of the top flapping. Other than that the bungees allow for it to move but not flap. We will redo the rear straps in a more secure fashion and get it back on the interstate today for further testing.

Looks great and I'm eager to see how the hard top version comes out. My only worry is with the movement in the wind that the rear straps might scratch up the paint on the support bar.

Bimini leaves no gap at the front or back, and has a crossbar
That crossbar is key on the highway. I have the bimini on a two door and I love it for the same reasons described in this video.

does the mesh keep the sun off of you? I have a mess bimini that replaced the vinyl one and the sun scorches us. It only provides a bit of shade.

It provides a 10 degrees temperature difference. Normally we bake while sitting still at traffic lights without the top up but we all were comfortable this past weekend. I also left my sunglasses behind and ended up not needing them. I would say with offers just the right amount of sun protection while still providing the open air feeling.

Any update on flapping after you readjusted the straps? Very interested in this top, but the posted video really gives me pause.
Thank you…

I was wondering the same thing, but unlike you my weather is starting to turn cold. So plenty of time for me to wait to find the best solution.

Sorry for the delay.

It seems that I did not have the rear straps secured in a manner that would "lock" them into place. I have found a few methods to try that should hold it more firmly in place.

I still need to test and will definitely report back as soon as possible.

I haven’t recorded it yet but it was definitely user error. After sending the strap back through the tri slide it is now securely in place.

You will have to show us what you did incorrectly so we do not repeat the same process. I'm thinking about getting an orange one for my area 51 Badlands. I'm still up in the air on the color, either orange or black.

Another video example with speed ranging 40 - 80+ mph. Doesn’t look too flappy.
