Do you all recommend moving any of the + connected leads off the factory bus setup to the dual system? I am asking without looking at my factory setup first....so this could be a dumb question. But I am lazy and don't want to walk to the garage.

I am curious if the batteries are tied together what would be the total CCA of the battery setup? Under hard winching conditions the winch could pull upwards of 500 amps at stall so will the buss bar handle this high of a load? My old '74 Bronco runs a pair of group 27's to power the Warn 8274 and I have never had an issue winching under near stall conditions.
I like the idea of dual batteries and it looks like this setup would fit the bill nicely.

Looks like each Odyssey battery is pretty close to OEM spec, but now you have two of them:

Like I said, for powering something for an extended period of time, like a fridge, this system doesn’t seem like the best solution. It’d be much more effective to hook a DC-DC charger directly to the starter battery and have a dedicated battery bank in the cargo area.
That's certainly an option. Of course there's always pros and cons to every option. One down side to doing that is just the issue of taking up space in the rear cargo area for the battery, and the extra wiring involved. But if space isn't a priority, then nothing wrong with doing that. Our customers like the simplicity of installation with putting 2 batteries side by side under the hood, but to your point, the battery size is constrained by the amount of space we have available, which for the Bronco, the Group 25 size battery is the largest size we can shoehorn in there.

Finally, a clean solution for running an isolated battery system on the Bronco platform. This gives me a comfort to move forward on the fridge and camp lighting setup knowing I can start the vehicle in the morning in case I pass out ;-)
for what it's worth, the Bronco will turn itself off to save the battery if you run it for too long

I think he's asking about the leads connected directly to the battery, not the AUX switches that are addressed in your video. The Bronco has 3 studs on the positive terminal available for wiring (IIRC).
