Zero times so far, but just picked up a few used rods and. Looking forward to getting out there. If any one has a favorite lure/bait for trout in the PNW, lmk.

My kids love to fish and so do their friends. I experience rod travel problems weekly as they travel around to different neighborhood lakes and ponds. The rod problem is the worst when we pack for the beach as a family. We all want to fish but struggle to get the big rods loaded. I usually end up breaking the rods down to make trip manageable. That means I have put them back together and rig them up (all of them) before I can fish. We make this trip a least once a month. Looks like a great product!

just twice. I either take the superduty or strap them in my kayaks. This is a great idea

Probably about 10 times. I don't have the headliner on the hardtop so I'm used to hearing that SCRAPE noise as my son loads his rods in the back.

Finally a solution. I’ve lugged my rods to the beach at least dozen times this summer.

My current solution has been to open the soft top and bungee cord the rods around the crossbar and above the aux switches. But it’s a pain in the ass having to break each rod down and carefully sliding them in and out from under the soft top.

I almost zip tied a rod holder from Amazon to the grill, but worried it wouldn’t be secure enough or would damage the grill.
