Hit Glamis yesterday with my son. Have been about a half dozen times with multiple rigs and have also rented SxSs there. Joined by my buddy in his F-150 Raptor.
Ran 11 psi. Probably just a hair soft for the high speed stuff.
Finally getting full, tuned (FP Tune) power as I ran some ethanol blend to get above our crappy 91 octane.
That's right near the lip of a huge steep dune face. You'd feel like rolling should you lose momentum and slow or stop. It's always a challenge to capture the scale of things out there.
Made it out to the famous swing set (the long and hard way through some huge, sketchy dunes)
There were precisely zero street trucks out there. Just too much for most.
My twinsie.
About 2 feet of travel anyone???
With a side of blown V8??
My buddy bottomed hard on a flat to climb transition at speed and despite it being just soft sand, if completely grabbed, tore and folded his factory skid plate in half.
The full berm shot. My buddy jumped out of the way thinking I was going to absolutely take him out.
