I'm interested in the D6s for the two door. That way, if I ever go up in height, or if the step is too high, I can bolt on the optional hoop steps, and take them off for the trail when needed.

So, is this another shade of black/grey to go with the 3 other shades on the truck or will it somewhat match one of the existing shades?
First world problems. :)

Are they steps, rock sliders, or both at the same time?

I'm looking for a more substantial slider that incorporates a small step for my badlands. I'll sell the factory sliders. These don't seem bad but it's hard to tell.

But for me to upgrade to aftermarket, they need to be tougher. They don't seem to mention the actual weight bearing capabilities for any of the sliders.

I can't see anyone buying these to be used as sliders....being that they are body mounted. That seems like a waste. I know you get some protection from OEM style body mounted, but these bigger ones seem like a recipe for problems in the rocks etc, as they provide a bigger lever to do body damage than the OEM version...I don't want steps to hang up on things, I want strong frame mounted sliders that taper out and stick out enough to push the body away from trees, rocks etc...
