Am I the only person that thinks the GOAT dial is stupid? Is it really that hard to figure out 2wd, 4a, 4wd, 4l, front locker, etc.? I know it adjusts shift points as well but with the MT I’ll have complete control of that.

Is it not 2 dials? Guess I have forgotten more than I thought... 🤷
I think one dial is for GOAT, one for transfer case settings, but the former controls the latter unless the latter overrides? I just find the GOAT modes asinine in an MT truck.

Agreed - I’m fairly new to off-roading. I am looking forward to the GOAT modes and learning more about them. I think they’ll be very useful.

The consumer in 2021 isn't the consumer of the '60s, '70s or '80s. And manual transmissions are now a novelty. I had to special order my manual transmission Sahara, as none could be found.

Other than turning it on and off, how would you vary the way the traction control acts without it? Or vary steering sensitivity?

Other than turning it on and off, how would you vary the way the traction control acts without it? Or vary steering sensitivity?
There is a button to turn traction control off.
