GOBI Bronco Rack Released [Official Specs & Photos]

We are starting first full shipments in the August/September timeframe from the first that ordered and going from there! We also just received some aftermarket bumpers that we are going to be working with for fitments!

Any specific bumpers? I was looking at the jcroffroad vanguard bumper and wanted to combine the gobi rack for it

The crossbars themselves need to have t-slots…

Exactly. The T-Slots are needed to attach the quick release levers. This will allow quick removal of the tent so the Gobi rack can be tilted back and the soft top can be opened. It will be a massive pain to have to unbolt the tent each time it is taken on and off or if I simply want to open the soft top.

hey @GOBI Racks does you mentioned this doesnt work very well with the FORD soft top. What about the bestop trektop (2dr)? Will that be able to fit underneath folded back?

No. The Bestop is rendered completely useless with the rack.

Hey there! Yeah unfortunately bestop designed it exactly the same as ford with how high it sits at the first position. It will work for every other feature other than that position!

There isn’t a first and second position for the Bestop. It just folds back. Not down. Which isn’t possible with your rack. So, the only function you have is removing the rear windows.

Next week I have an appointment for GOBI to swap out the prototype rear mounts for production ones. Not sure what the change is as the prototype has been great. Maybe new ones are compatible with more aftermarket bumpers. Then I’ll have it up at the Moab off rodeo on the 13th.

We changed the clamps on the light bar for a stronger grip with the weight of potential lights up top!
