The 50in light bar is set in front of those two vertically welded bars whereas the 40in becomes inset between the top and bottom bar and left and right sides!

I guess I just wanted something different. Figured this would also scatter the light a little more, as well.

That stabilizer in the middle is something I added based on someone else I saw online doing a similar thing. Just wanted to be completely rock solid. The Gobi mounts alone are pretty rigid, but I already had the components.

Thank you...Looks GREAT with the Gobi. Here's my idea "at the moment". Just playin the letters. I want to put yellow film over a couple to match my lower lights

Nice! Yeah, matching amber covers from different manufacturers is probably an impossible task. I like the film idea.

The letters and yellow film are all decals I'd put over the KC and thinking of a wind deflector behind the light bar

Oh, I see. They would just be on the KC covers. I would be curious to see if the deflector helps out with the noise.

I had something kinda similar on my 4Runner and noise was never an issue. Of course with your soft top it's gonna be worse than hard top

In studying my Gobi parts more it became apparent your light bar bracket is set closer to the rack than mine by what looks like 2". Is your bracket custom or from Gobi?

They actually sent me the long one at first as well. I was not sure if there’s a difference between the straight and curved bar. The curved bar sat way too far away from the rack with the longer mount. I would contact Gobi to see if they can send you the shorter one, or even if that will work with a straight bar.

I think I've devised a plan to not use brackets now. Different lights tucked into the space between upper/lower bars. Not 6" lights (4.7") but same Lumens as the KC. With my overall theme I think will look best. My Bronco will be EG in color.
