Im planning on swapping my stock BB tires(no sasquach) for 35's.

Reading the forums, It seems 35's fit fine after removing the crash bars.
Im worried about losing my 6th gear at highway speed going from 32's to 35's. Anyone has knowledge on this?

It will be fine, I run 34s on my heavier BD and it still accelerate fine @80mph in 6th without downshifting. It only uses a couple psi of boost at 80.

The 7MT should mean you have 4.46, which is definitely enough gearing.

perhaps theres a reason 2.3 + manual + sasquatch wasnt offered.

but they will in 22. do we know if they are using a different gear ratio with it?

10% larger tire circumference. might be a bit lethargic at speed in 6th gear, but Im sure it wont be unusable.

7% down grade with a stiff tailwind, you're good to go!!! I kid, actually have no idea, pretty sure not many do...

Any CJ7 owners wanna chime in here. I have run 33s with 3.54 gears and 0.63 OD with most of 110HP of fury. No problem going 80mph in it. Aside from the very real threat of imminent death by any one of many potential failures. :ROFLMAO:

There are jeeps on the road with 35s/4.10/ manual transmission with no issues. Considering your gearing is 4.46. I wouldn't be worried.

I did it. It's fine. I can still use 6th gear over 100k/h on the highway. Downshift to pass. I'm actually making a video review of the 7 speed manual this week. Should be posted on my youtube channel by next week. Link's in my profile.

how is rubbing offroad though? I would think it looks great but loses functionality. in your video can you try showing the articulation before it hits?

I'm actually planning a different video on the "Selfsquatch" to show my clearance and such. I haven't had a chance to offroad since the rims and tires went on. But no rubbing on the street. 0mm offset rims and 1" level tho.
